The Philosophy

The Manifesto

At BeeSpelled, we believe magic is not something you chase—it is something you remember.

It lives in the quiet moment before intention is spoken, in the hum of bees, and in the pull of the moon.

You do not need to be perfect or initiated to practice ritual.

You only need to show up with an open heart.

Each candle is crafted to accompany you while you show up for yourself. With carefully chosen, intentional ingredients, our candles consist of—a natural blend of soy, coconut, and beeswax infused with purposeful botanicals, crystals, and oils.

Because the survival of the bees is bound to our own, we give back with every candle to protect the wild spirits that sustain our world.

Light the flame.

Set the intention.

Trust the timing.

May you remember what you already carry.

Crafted with intention.

Guided by the cosmos.

Devoted to the Earth.

Meet the Creatrix

I am Christa of BeeSpelled Enchanted Candles. For over fifteen years, my days have been rooted in healing, rhythm and education as a massage therapist, highland dance instructor and a graduate of a BSc in Health Science and MEd in Health Science Education. Beneath all of that lay a (somewhat dormant) lifelong fascination with astrology, energetics, and esoterics, waiting to bloom.

BeeSpelled is the intersection of all my worlds. Here, candle making becomes a sacred chemistry. Every offering is hand-poured in Calgary at the feet of the Canadian Rockies, around potent astrological transits and moon phases to lock in specific intentions. Closely connected to the wild spirits of the land, I create these tools to act as an anchor for your daily rituals, and to help support bee conservation initiatives. My goal is simple: I want the act of striking a match and lighting a BeeSpelled candle to bring you an instant, full-body sigh of relief, inviting you to return home to your own mystical essence.

Thanks for taking a moment to learn about me!
May you Bee Spelled. 🐝🌙✨

Honoring the Soil & Waters

In the spirit of reciprocity and respect, the BeeSpelled acknowledges that we gather, craft, and live on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, and the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations. We honour the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3, and all indigenous peoples who make their home in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.

Long before this endeavour existed, the original caretakers of these territories held a profound, sophisticated understanding of natural science, holistic healing, and an interconnected relationship with the plants, stones, and rhythms of the earth. As an independent apothecary inspired by the lakes, rivers, and peaks of the Canadian Rockies, we hold deep gratitude for these ancestral practices. We move forward with a commitment to honor this lineage of earthly wisdom, walking with respect alongside the land and its pollinators since time immemorial.
