All full size candles are currently 220g size.
The first time you light your candle is the most important. Do not extinguish the flame until the melted wax pool reaches all six edges of the hexagon glass jar. This can take around 1 hour.
Extinguishing the candle too early creates a "memory ring," causing the wax to tunnel straight down on future burns, wasting the precious wax on the sides.
Trim the Wick (Every Single Time)
Before relighting your candle, always trim the wick to 1/2 cm.
You can use a wick trimmer, scissors, cutters (Bee Careful!)
A trimmed wick keeps the flame controlled, prevents tunnelling, and stops black soot from staining your clear glass.
The 4-Hour Limit
Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Burning it longer can cause the glass jar to overheat.
Our candles are adorned with real gifts from the earth. To ensure fire safety while honouring these elements, please observe the following guidelines:
Remove Large Crystals: Before lighting your candle for the first time, gently remove any large, raw crystal stones using a spoon or tweezers. Wipe off any excess wax and place the crystal beside your candle jar to anchor your ritual space.
Mind the Botanicals: Smaller herbs and florals are designed to safely sink into the melting wax pool. However, as the wax melts, herbs can occasionally drift too close to the flame. If a botanical catches fire or begins to smoke, safely extinguish the candle and use a metal tool to nudge the herb toward the outer edge of the jar.
The Final cm: Discontinue use when only 1cm of wax remains at the bottom of the hexagon jar. Burning a candle completely down to the bare glass can cause the jar to crack from the intense heat of the metal wick tab.

BeeSpelled and its employees are not responsible for any damage, injury, or loss resulting from the use or misuse of our offerings. By purchasing, you acknowledge that candles contain real botanicals and crystals. Large crystals and loose botanicals should be removed prior to lighting, and candles must never be left burning unattended. Always burn on a heat-safe surface and keep away from drafts, children, and pets.
At BeeSpelled, every candle is handcrafted as a tool for your daily ritual. Because our offerings are created with clean, natural ingredients and infused with intention, we handle our return process with care and fairness. Please review our guidelines below: Eligibility for Returns
Original Condition: To be eligible for a full refund, your item must be unused, unlit, and in the exact condition that you received it. It must also be in its original packaging.
Your candle must have been purchased within 30 days.
No Burnt Candles: Once a candle’s wick has been lit, it enters your personal ritual space and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded under any circumstances.
Partial Refunds: In certain situations, only partial refunds may be granted (if applicable). This includes items with signs of use, items that are not in their original condition, or items that are damaged/missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
BeeSpelled reserves the right to deny any requests for returns/refunds.
Shipping costs for returning your item are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
We highly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item, and we are not responsible for returns lost in transit. If your product arrives broken or damaged due to rough transit, please contact us within 14 days of delivery at christa@beespelled.ca with a photo of the damaged item and packaging so we can swiftly send you a replacement.
At BeeSpelled, every candle is hand-poured and packed with care in Calgary, Alberta. Because we work in small batches with natural ingredients, we appreciate your patience as we prepare your ritual tools.
Processing Times
All orders are processed and packed within 2 to 5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) before they are delivered or made available for pickup.

Currently, we only offer local delivery or pickup.
For our neighbours in the Calgary area, we are happy to offer local alternatives to traditional shipping:
1. Free Local Pickup (North Calgary)
Save on shipping by picking up your order directly.
How it works: Select "Local Pickup" at checkout.
Timeline: Once your order is processed (2–5 business days), you will receive a "Ready for Pickup" email containing our specific North Calgary pickup location address, available times, and instructions.
2. Local Calgary Delivery ($5)
Want it brought straight to your door? We offer local delivery within Calgary city limits for a flat fee of $5 on all orders over $75.
How it works: If your order qualifies and your address is within our delivery zone, this option will appear at checkout. Deliveries are typically made on Tuesdays and Fridays following your 2-5 day processing window.
Lost Packages
BeeSpelled is not responsible for packages stolen after a successful delivery notification.
